COMPLIANCE COORDINATORS
ANNUAL MEETING TO OCCUR IN JANUARY
Due to a tie in voting to determine the date of the next Compliance Coordinators' Meeting, we have decided to meet in January, as has been in years past. The fall date was a conflict for some of our schools' schedules. Since the NCAA Meeting will be held in Orlando next year, the possibility is there for us to meet at that time. However, we only want to meet if the group was planning to attend anyway. Please email us at your earliest convenience and give us your feedback regarding this option or the regular meeting at the conference office.

DIRECTORS OF ACADEMIC SUPPORT PROGRAMS
UPCOMING CONFERENCE CALL
The Directors of Academic Support Programs will have a conference call this fall to discuss their annual winter meeting and to review the DSASP Handbook.

FACULTY ATHLETICS REPRESENTATIVES
FALL MEETING PRIOR TO FARA - TAMPA, FLORIDA
The next SEC Faculty Athletics Representative meeting is scheduled in conjunction with the FARA Fall Forum in Tampa, Florida. This dinner meeting will begin on Wednesday, November 8 at 6 p.m. (EST) and will conclude for the evening by 10:00 pm. We will reconvene on November 9 at 8: 00 a.m. (EST) and conclude by noon. Hotel Reservations should be made through the NCAA.

LIFE SKILLS COORDINATORS
CONFERENCE MEETING TO BE HELD AT NCAA LIFE SKILLS FORUM
In an exciting development, Lori Hendricks of the NCAA has recently informed the SEC office that time has been allotted for conferences to schedule a conference life skills coordinators' meeting at this year's NCAA Life Skills Forum. The NCAA Life Skills Forum is scheduled for February 10 - 13, 2000. Conference meetings will be held on February 10 from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. The SEC staff will provide more details as this meeting approaches.

STUDENT-ATHLETE ADVISORY COMMITTEE
FALL MEETING TO BE HELD OCTOBER 29TH AT THE SEC OFFICE
The fall Student-Athlete Advisory Committee meeting will be held on October 29, 2000 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. All student-athletes and administrators attending the meeting are welcome to join the Compliance staff for dinner Saturday, October 28th, at 6:30 p.m. Please submit any agenda items to the conference office by Wednesday, October 18, 2000.
